The consortium met at AMS on April 1 for their quarterly update. Highlights included a tour of the impressive robomould assembly line and a hands-on inspection of the new COMFHY tank mould.

The quarterly status update meeting was held at the University of Ghent on the 16th of January 2026. Next to the usual updates presented per partner from the consortium, a live demo was given in the UGent laboratory. COMFHY researcher Dhruv Narayan showed the progress in acoustic emission detection on sample and COPV level. Strategies were shown on how to implement these detection methods in even larger thick-walled composite pressure vessels as well.

The COMFHY consortium was well represented at COPV World 2025 in Düsseldorf, Germany. In a 2 day symposium, covering all topics related to COPV's, all consortium members were present. It was great to see 4 presentations (of 28 in total) by members of the consortium. Insightful discussions were held and the COPV network was further reinforced. The next edition of COPV World is confirmed, however date and location are yet to follow.
